Curio case study.
Curio turns short-form scrolling into source-backed learning. Leon took the product from interface and system decisions through a release that anyone can inspect on the U.S. App Store.

The decision this solved
Release one connected app, backend, subscription, and content system.
The product needed to deliver short learning experiences without treating the mobile feed as an isolated set of screens. Accounts, content delivery, subscriptions, localization, and the App Store release all had to work as one product.
What Leon built
Delivered scope.
Mobile product
A React and TypeScript client with a native iOS shell and the product states needed for discovery and learning.
Backend and subscriptions
An Express and Postgres backend plus the subscription flow behind the public iPhone release.
Content and localization
The content pipeline and a four-language in-app content experience carried through the released app.
